Bird’s Eye View.

Nature: An Emanation of Perfection

Bird’s Eye View is a collection of metal and mixed media works that reflect on nature’s inherent order and self-sufficiency. Made entirely from natural materials, including raw carbon steel and handmade recycled paper, the works are grounded in simplicity, restraint, and material honesty.

Using minimal lines and unadorned forms, the collection asks for sustained attention. Like observing a forest from above or standing within it long enough for details to emerge, the imagery in these works reveals itself slowly. Bird forms appear only through careful looking, rewarding patience rather than immediacy.

The steel sculptures are constructed from modest geometric shapes that echo the patterns and repetitions found in the natural world. As individual elements come together, silhouettes emerge—never forced, never overt—mirroring how nature discloses itself without instruction or embellishment.

Bird’s Eye View embraces a raw and unrefined aesthetic. It reflects the belief that nature requires no adornment, and that clarity, balance, and beauty already exist in their simplest state.
